Taysty’s Eatery and Wine Bar

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Sun-Wed), 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Th-Sat)
Phone: (208) 265-4396

Formerly known as the Cedar St Bistro.

Taysty’s is located on the historic Cedar St. Bridge, with its massive tamarack logs and huge, glass solar-wall through which you can enjoy a view of peaceful Sand Creek and the mountains beyond.

Tyler Francis and Taylar Doolittle — a young couple excited to contribute to the bustling Cedar Street Bridge, officially purchased the restaurant and wine bar on February 29th, 2020.
Both have 10+ years worth of experience in the food service and customer service industry. The duo met while working at a Resort at Priest Lake, ID in 2013.
Under the new ownership, the Cedar Street Bistro adopted a new name: Taysty’s. It’s a combination of the owners’ names, branding the restaurant both “Tay’s” and “Ty’s.”
Every day, great-tasting food will be served up with drinks and authentic, Italian-made Gelato in a warm and inviting atmosphere. You can expect to find hand-made sweet and savory crepes, artisan pizzas, grilled sandwiches and wraps, plus more. The Wine Bar will complement the existing menu and offer new organic selections.
Taysty’s will continue to be a Downtown Favorite and Local Treat!

Our most popular recipe is the Cedar Street Bridge Special, a spicy almond or pecan that uses three of our flavored sea salts – Vanilla, Smoked Serrano, and Venom.  We add a little chili powder and cayenne pepper to finish it off.  Spicy.  Sweet.  Yum.

We also offer Cinnamon Vanilla, Honey Mustard, Honey Chipotle, Ginger Lime, and our seasonal best Cocoa Candy Cane.  If you come in to the Cedar Street Bridge and it smells like grandma’s house, we’re roasting.  Come by and pop a free sample in your mouth.  Tough to eat just one…

Zwazo Nich, Haitian Creole for BIRD NEST, was a dream deferred for too long. Today we are honored to have the opportunity to come alongside women and men near and far working to build a better future for their families. Expanding the marketing possibilities for their creations, Zwazo Nich offers quality fair-trade jewelry, personal accessories, art, home décor, and more for you and your “NEST” — empowering families around the world to BUILD THEIRS.

The organizations and artisan groups that we partner with provide men and women with sustainable and dignified employment for which they are paid a fair living wage—often 3-4 times the “unlivable” minimum wage of their countries. This, in turn, enables them to provide food, shelter, medical care, and education for themselves and their children—keeping families together, empowering future generations, and breaking the cycle of poverty in homes and communities.
